Upcycling

AND

 Sustainability

Here at Born to Ramble, we believe that fashion should be sustainable and part of the solution, not the problem. We upcycle our materials which not only makes each creation fully unique, but it offsets overproduction and environmental strain caused by fast fashion.

'Upcycling' is the process of creatively reusing and repurposing materials that would be discarded. By reimagining these pieces, it gives them new life and helps us all contribute to the movement towards sustainable fashion.

Due to the nature of the work, each piece is created using mixed materials and fabrics that may require varied washing/care instructions. For care instructions, please see the page below.

Care Instructions

Just bought a one-of-a-kind, upcycled piece from Born to Ramble?

First off—dang, you look good! You’re officially a sustainable fashionista supporting a small business and keeping style (and the planet) alive. Thank you for repping!

Here’s how to keep your new favorite look in top shape:

Flannels – Machine washable and dryer safe. Wear, wash, repeat. These are built to ramble right alongside you.

Vests – Handmade from delicate, mixed materials. For best results and long-lasting wear, we recommend dry cleaning only.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind and made to wander—just like you. Wear it well, care for it right, and ramble on.
